This was the queue outside Anne Frank House when I walked past this morning at around 9am. I think there were about 200 people in the queue.
So I guess it’s time for my annual post on how to avoid the queues. |
Tip 1
Go later in the day. The museum is open until 10pm in July and August with admittance up to 9.30 pm. More information on the opening hours is available on the Anne Frank House website.
There’s rarely a queue when I walk past in the evenings, around 7pm.
Tip 2
Book tickets online, you do have to specify the date and time you’ll enter. But if you can plan that you can avoid a very long wait.
Very good to know! I’m working a flight to Amsterdam this weekend and haven’t been to the Anne Frank house yet, but was definitely planning to this time.
