Apparently the government did stick to the 1040 hours per year of teaching time. Which lead to more protests in Amsterdam on Friday. Only in Amsterdam, they didn’t protest anywhere else, not even in The Hague (which is where the government is).
|Some schools bussed students in to the protests, and other schools forbade their students from joining the action. There was a pretty big police presence around the square – police, the mounted police, the “mobile eenheid” which is a special unit for civil disruption.|
So around 15,000 students gathered on Museumplein, leading to diversions in public transport for the trams in that area during the protest, and along Leidsestraat later.
