Realisme Exhibition

The Amsterdam Passenger Terminal

Realisme 2009 exhibition is on this weekend at the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal, it’s all lit up and looks like a big blue fish.
This exhibition is of contemporary art, and most of it’s for sale. You’ll need to hurry though – it closes tomorrow!
More than 30 galleries are present representing more than 100 artists. The prices of the work range from a few hundred euro for a small bronze fish, up to 22,000 for one painting, most of the paintings are into the 3,000 – 8,000 range. Not bad for Art, but more than I had in my wallet.

My favourite was a quietly perfect still life of a bowl of cherries by Maarten Boffe, you can see it online – but does not do the original justice.
