Sunday Market – Westergasfabriek

I’ve just come back from the Sunday Market at the Westergasfabriek, it’s a market that’s held on the first Sunday of the month, and the participants are showcasing their homemade crafts and food. Here’s a sample of what’s on offer.

Hammock chairs – perfect for lazing outside reading books. In summer.

Cats for sale – suitable for any sized apartment.

Original Designer furnishings

If the shopping saps your energy there are plenty of foodstalls, including this one selling spicy felafel wraps.

And take home something scrumptious from the American Baking Company; from left to right Turtle slice, Nanaimo bar and Hello Dolly bar. All zero calories – for today only.

I was too busy tasting and chatting, so I forgot to take a photo of the American Baking Company’s stall, but you can see more on their website.

Overall I wasn’t wildly impressed with the craft stalls – a number of them were more Regretsy than Etsy. My only purchases were the above calorie free bars and the spicy hummus from the Lebanese stall.

  1. I can’t wait to get over there and take a look at what American Baking Company offers. I have heard only good things about them. 🙂
