In the name of the smoke, the fire, and the holy ash?

There is a new religion in the Netherlands, the One and Universal Smokers Church of God. Michiel Eijsbouts founded the church and declares that members take smoking very seriously and follow their smoking rituals daily. Dozens of cafes have signed up already and are claiming that they are protected under the right to freedom of religion guaranteed in the Dutch constitution.

While I personally don’t like smoking, if people want to smoke in a private club that’s cool. Just not sure we need to pretend it’s a religion.
